The goal of the project was to provide a new identity and presence online through social media and website management. A mix of projects blended under one flexible service, working closely with the client through structured monthly meeting and strategic goal-setting.
Client: Moving Limits – Freediving School, Sports Association & Competitive Team
Role: Social Media Management & Website Content
Industry: Sport & Outdoor / Freediving
Services: Digital Communication, Content Strategy, Web Management
The Context
Moving Limits (website) is a freediving school and sports association active in both teaching and competitive training. Their offline presence was solid, with regular courses, workshops, and a dedicated team. However, their digital presence wasn’t reflecting the energy and professionalism of their real-world activity.
They didn’t have anyone internally managing the website or running consistent communication on social media. That led to missing opportunities and no growth, except from the in-person communication of the founder. There was no updates, no storytelling, and missed chances to share what was happening within the team and the school.
The Work behind the Social Media and Website Management
We started with simple, clear goals:
Make Moving Limits Social Media and Website presence more coherent and alive
Share updates and content that matched the quality of their real-world work
Help the team stay visible, reachable, and up to date on the website
Social Media & Content Strategy
- We set up a rotating editorial calendar covering different themes: training, events, people, and educational-related content
- Created a mix of photo posts, stories, and reels that captured the emotions behind freediving not just performance, but passion and mindset
- Adapted the tone of voice to feel more personal and community-driven, avoiding overly “commercial” language and switched to only English communication
Website Coordination & Content Updates
- Reorganized and updated the website in two languages (Italian and English)
- Gave structure to the courses, events, and news sections to make everything easier to find
- Took care of copywriting, consistency, and small UX improvements together with their developer
- Keep up to date the blog and event sections
The Outcome of the Social Media and Website Management
- A +65% growth in followers on Instagram, paired with more comments, shares, and private messages asking about courses and training
- A more reliable digital rhythm: content goes out regularly, and it reflects what’s actually happening within the school
- A clean and updated bilingual website, now used more often to inform, sign up students, and share what’s new
- Positive feedback from instructors and students, who now feel more represented online
Why it Matters
This project wasn’t about “reinventing” anything but about helping a passionate team bring more consistency and visibility to what they were already doing so well.
It’s a good example of what Phàros Lab services can adapt and can create custom projects: practical support, clear structure, and design that respects the identity of the people behind the project.
